Netoip – an internet service provider from Italy has decided to participate in the beta testing program of LigoPTP RapidFire wireless bachaul device and and set up a 6.5 km (4 mi) link with external dual-pol directional dish antennas. The link is used for the backhaul of a network that connects multiple base stations serving residential and business customers to provide data, VoIP, and video surveillance services.
